Pandora desktop player

All I've got to say is wow! This thing rocks. For those of you who don't already know, I can't imagine how deep in the sand your head must be to not know about Pandora.com, but I'll leave that for you to correct, Pandora.com provides a music player service free of charge, that builds virtual radio stations according to your input and feedback. Now on to the really cool part. My friend and fellow blogger has built a desktop player for Pandora. You can find it here. You should also check out his blog over at http://www.krotscheck.net/

Engagement!

On June 27th I knew that my girlfriend Abisha was the one. I wasn't sure how to proceed, but standing in being married I requested my mother's engagement ring on July 1st. She had offered it to me once before, and I had turned it down. She told me that she was really attached to the ring and concerned that it may pass out of the family. I requested that she let me know by when she would choose and she told me that she would let me know in the morning. The next day as Abish and I were driving to visit my parents I got a call from my mom, and the first thing she said to me was, "yes". I said, "yes what?", and she said, "yes I want to give you my engagement ring." I was so overjoyed. Then on July 4th I took Abisha to a spa in Hot Springs, AR for a spa day, and we both visited the baths and had massages. That evening we went to dinner with my parents at a wonderful Latin restaurant, and I proposed and she said yes! We are planning our wedding on February 12th in Loscoe, Derbyshire, UK at St. Lukes Church. The same church where my parents were married. To celebrate we are having a BBQ this Sunday at the clubhouse in our community. I invite you all to attend. Please bring a side dish. We will be cooking ribs, chicken and brisket. Please let me know if you have any dietary requests. Please come join us to celebrate! Contact me for directions, or if you already know, just RSVP to let me know you're coming.

Marathon Training and Sponsorship!

I am registered for the Fox Cities Marathon of 2008 on Sept 20th and 21st. I have been doing my training on and off, and I am on track right now. I am doing about 4 miles a day three days a week and 8 miles on Saturday. I am now looking for sponsors. To be a sponsor you must pledge to make a donation to a charity (any non-profit humanitarian organization) on my behalf. When I complete the marathon I will notify you, and you will make your donation and let them know it is on my behalf. If you would like to sponsor me, please send me an e-mail with your pledge amount, and the charity that you will be donating to.

Thank you for your generosity!

60-Day Yoga Challenge

I realize this is quite late, but it's better late than never. I completed my 60-day yoga challenge! It was quite tough near the end when I had to do doubles every day for 5 days, but it was an awesome experience. I have improved my flexibility, endurance, and reduced the stress in my daily life. I encourage anyone who is considering yoga, or who is looking for a way to relieve stress to check out yoga! I did my Challenge at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Houston.
